I am here with yet another blog entry after a long gap.Well, I could not really find time to post a new entry and now at last i m back .

RCT(10)

This isn't any kind of formula. It is the Tour Number. Recently, I had been on a tour with my family Rameshwaram,Chennai,Trichy for exactly 10(RCT{10}). Well, I was very excited and shopped for almost a month. We toured with Nirmala Travels. It was very well organized and we really thank them for a problem free,complaint free tour.

We started off on a lovely Sunday morning.Visited Kanchipuram(Tamil Nadu). Below is the list of places we visited.

Kanchipuram,Mahabalipuram,Chennai,Pondicherry,Chidambaram,Trichy,
Tanjavur,Rameshwaram,Madurai,Suchindram,Kanyakumari,Trivendrum,
Cochin,Kalady,Guruvayur.

Only problem was with the weather.Sun in Tamil Nadu loved me so much that he caused some burns on my skin. Food was really good in Tamil Nadu.

Kanchi : Shiva Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi. As name says,Shiva Kanchi Temple for Lord Shiva.The Shivalinga here is called as Ekambareshwar. It is the place where Goddess Parvati worshipped Lord Shiv under a Mango tree that would bear 5 to 6 varieties of fruits and survived for almost 3000years(I actually dont remember the exact number of years) .Vishnu Kanchi Temple has Lord Vishnu .Well, i really dont remember much about this temple except there were two cute elephants.

Chennai : Capital City Of Tamil Nadu.I had visited thisplace two years back when i got a chance to participate in TV Games Show for Udaya TV (SunNetwork) titled 'Bangarada Bete'. This time we visited Mahabalipuram,Astalakshmi Temple ( A Three floor Lakshmi temple) really good one,VGP Golden Beach, Parthasarathy Temple ( has Lord Krishna with his brother and grandson.The temple also has AC System that really cooled us ). Our tour manager Mr.Balakrishna was clever enuf that he showed us the city when we were caught up in traffic signals.

Pondicherry : A well planned, clean city.Has really good liquor shops. The Aurobindo Ashrama and the Vinayaka Temple worth a visit. I dream Bangalore will one day be as clean as this Pondicherry.

Chidambaram : A very big temple , private property of the Deekshits. Well there are only 300 brahmins (Deekshits ) residing now. Has 4 sabhas , I remember only 2, rajya sabha and Naatya Sabha. They say If a dancer performs once in the Naatya sabha ,the dancer will gain popularity and will be even more good dancer.Some Indian actress have performed there before.

Trichy : Famous Rock Fort Ganapati Temple (420 Steps) the entire city can be viewed from this temple. This place reminds me of our Commercial Street. Sri Rangam Temple ,yet another temple here .Elephant,Cow and Horse show their presence for the Morning Pooja. This temple has 300+Kgs Gold on its Gopura.This is place where we gotta our Kaveri River.

Tanjavur : A very large temple,nice place to hang out.Has the 3rd Largest Nandi in India.Made Of a single hard rock.Has nice art .

Rameshwaram: This is the place I really loved and wanna visit again. The Pancha Lingas, Samudra Snanam, 22 Well Snanam, Lakshmana Teertha, Rama Teertha, Hanumantha teertha,those floating stones of Rama Setu. Really Superb!!! Well There is a good tale about those Pancha Lingas which I can t put up in this post.This is getting very lengthier.

Madurai : Madurai Meeanakshi,the Goddess who blesses with her Eyes.Very Powerful.Tour Manager told us the ladies here are powerful than Men. Parvati's avatar as Meenakshi and marries Sundaresha(Lord Shiva) , beautiful story behind this too. This is very beautiful temple and the carvings inside the temple ,really feast to eyes.

Suchindram : The Local Guide Suresh was too good, too enthusiastic that we enjoyed the place. Main Deity Dattatreya , Shiva ,Vishnu and Brahma embedded as a single god. The temple has musical pillars . A very special Ganapati idol{ Elephant face with a lady body}. Suchindram is the place where people believe that Lord Indra comes to this temple and baths in the well inside the temple and performs pooja in the evening.Around 2 lac devotees visit this temple for the Procession.

Kanyakumari : I need not talk about this place. I have no words to define this place.

Trivendrum : Sri Ananthapadmanabha Temple,the most richest temple has 86000 crores worth gold n diamonds.The only temple not invaded by the Muslims. The temple has some restrictions ,men in dhotis is mandatory and does not allow ladies to wear salwars, only hindus allowed in.

Cochin : The Ferry Boat travel here is the most memorable one. Vasco Da Gama reached this place first and has the first Church.

Kalady : Shankaracharya's home, his story is what Kalady is all about.

Guruvayur : This was the place where I felt a bit tired as we had to wait for a long gap for Guruvayurappan's darshana. Very beautiful temple,heavily crowded.

All the temple gopuras looked nearly same to me and each time I see those photographs I am bit confused in naming the places.

Well this RCT(10) is meant for People aged 40+. But I too enjoyed it. There was entertainment on Wheels,Music,Quiz,Puzzles,Games,Movies and Jokes kept me Alive!!!

Gundu

"Olage seridare Gundu hudugi aaguvalu Gandu"

I m not talking about this Gundu meaning Alcohol.

"Gundu" is my pet Dog.

Three years back on the same day, my Uncle gave me a box and said, "Open it, U have a surprise".I could see a gray colored pup.He was too scared,very lean. He was hungry too. I named him Gundu . He was just 8 days old then.I fed him with lots of milk and cerelac. Soon Gundu grew up very strongly and now he is 3 years old.

He was naughty till his first birthday. I remember the day when this naughty pup ate up few Red Chillies. Soon tears started rolling down from his eyes. It was Glucose that gave him relief.

He is loved by Everyone. Kids play with him n they love to call out his name loud. He is very strong as he exercises thrice without fail. He has a good gang of friends. Chameli, Blacky, Muniamma(Also Called Jumping Dog),Belliamma and Brown. They join him everyday for morning Walk. Morning Joggers, Children in their School Vans do not forget to wish him. Vegetable vendors passing by our house feed him tomatoes. He is very friendly and hence very popular.

I have learnt many things from him.He has taught me at times to be patient and never to talk to parents in a higher pitch. He never allows any kind of fights at home.Loves to love and be loved.
He is sincere. Understands your language,reacts to it very well.He hates being captured and i gotta click his picture when he sleeps. Though he appears to be in good sleep, he is not. He wakes up as soon as any noise reaches his ears. I thing that i dont like about him is he hates music. Music really disturbs him.

He loves all insects and animals around him. He neither kills any insect nor allows us to kill them in his presence. Eco-friendly dog right? He admires a frog. He loves to watch it jumping. He always walks with my dad and hence waits for him till he arrives from office. If he is late , he pesters me to call up my dad.

Dog is a man's best friend. They really can understand your emotions. They stand by you in all your times. Talk to them as you talk to your Best friend and they give you a feeling ," I am With you".

There are many stray dogs growing up in the streets. I feed all Gundu 's friend everyday. Adopt a Dog today.Give them a Life. Have a very Best friend in Your Life.

Presented by Candyman , Jumbo Russian Circus is the place where u get to see many stunning performances by various artists hailing from different parts of the World.

Well i was very happy when i came out . It was really a different world, felt i was in a magic world. Animals and birds performing different actions. Men n Women looked like fairies who performed so well that it was not possible to believe that it was happening in real.

There was complete entertainment for about 2 hours. It is very difficult for me to remember all the names of the performers.
The best part of the show was the twenty - 20 Cricket match played by Elephants and little jokers. The elephant hit fours and sixes just like Yuvaraj Singh. But it was depressed at the end as it could not complete its fifty. It moves to a beer bar. Drinks out 90. Then just a drunkard breaks tables n stools to express its depression. It faints ultimately . A Big elephant enters as a doctor,injects the drunk cricketer and advises the ill-effects of Drinking. There is a moral by the elephant to the entire crowd "Drinking Ruins Life ".

One thing made me really proud. Mr.Anthony is only the Kannadiga in the Circus troup. He rode a very smallest bicycle which is 68 years old. He does a balancing stunt on a pendulum with a single wheeled cycle.

I loved the Dog Show there. Dalmatians, Pamoranians,German Shepherds were really cute. The dangerous and most exciting were sky walk,bike riding where one of the three riders was a lady, and Satin Saree Dance by Shiny.

The crowd went mad when there was fire dance performance to the Hindi song "Jhalak Dikh la Ja". He was really outstanding performer.

One extra thing i saw that was not exciting but scary was a hippopotamus with its mouth widely opened. There were Cute White Macaws that bicycled.Camels were not very good.

Well ,i feel sad that i could not really remember all the performances. Each and every stunt was different, unique in its own way. A feast to the eyes.

So I request everyone to please visit the circus. Plan for the Circus instead of a movie this week end and really encourage those hard working performers. They are really talented , have taken a great risk to entertain us.

Hello Everyone,

This is my first blog. What made me to start this?? I was inspired by my brother Praveen(www.mayajaala.com). Have read his blogs,I too felt can i start this one too. Mr.Omshivaprakash(http://platonic.techfiz.info/) encouraged me. Then it was my friend Goutham's (http://gomzie-shack.blogspot.com/)blog that finally made me gather courage in me and im here with my first blog.
I thank all the three persons. I hope all my friends will encourage me and correct me if i go wrong.
